Background

In 2025, I moved to Chicago and started managing the condo building I moved into. I was concerned to learn that our building exterior and first defense against mother nature, was not well understood. Though seeking guidance among fellow Chicagoans, I quickly learned that many buildings address issues after they become expensive repairs. I felt there must be a better way.

Mission

Structure Imaging’s mission is to help Chicago property owners and managers better understand their buildings through high-resolution drone imaging, thermal inspections, and engineering-driven analysis. I understand the challenges property managers and HOA boards face, and I believe this technology can help better protect the historic and beautiful city I’m proud to call home.

Joe is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. Joe’s mission is to combine his technical expertise with practical building knowledge. As an FAA Certified Remote Pilot, Joe is committed to safe operations, high-quality data collection, and delivering reliable insights that help clients make informed maintenance and repair decisions.
